Master Chess
Master Chess is an iconic chess strategy game that involves players checkmate the enemy king by way of legal chess moves and planned trades. Piece development, king safety, control of the center, and calculating the enemy’s counter move are key.
Master Chess always has a clean board to ensure that the real game happens in each and every move. The movement of all pieces conforms to the basic principles of chess, thereby making the opening easy to identify for professionals and learn for beginners. The main difficulty of the game is based on the concept of consequences. Pawns can open lines; carelessness in moving the queen can lead to loss of tempo, and one bad square can become a point for attack several moves later. Move highlighting facilitates movement along the board, but it does not decide the strategy.
How to Play Master Chess
It is better to begin your game by making moves which bring knights and bishops onto good squares, rather than moving the same piece over and over. Struggle for central control, castle early to avoid putting your king into an unfavorable position, and do not sacrifice too much in terms of developing your pieces in the initial phase of the game. Before every single move, look at three factors: threats towards your king, any loose pieces, and material differences resulting from any possible capture. In case of a trade, analyze what is being exchanged and the position afterwards.
