Blaze Drifter

Blaze Drifter is an arcade-style game based on drift racing, where the player wins races by using speed, controlled drifting, and timing boost usage. Set up the corner early, make sure to drift without oversteering and boost when the car is pointing at the exit.

Blaze Drifter

Blaze Drifter is designed for gamers who enjoy sliding their vehicle through turns rather than gripping the ground through a turn. The combination of tight corners, jumps, objects, stunts, coins, and collectable cars makes it necessary for the player to do something more than holding the accelerator. A drift may begin the fun but the exit decides whether it was useful. An excessive use of steering may end up spinning the vehicle and wasting time, whereas a good drift may set the car in a position to handle the next straight away.

How to Play

Establish a drift position before the corner and not after crossing the proper line. Gradually position your car to go outwards and then turn into a bend by using the hand brake just long enough to lose the grip. Once the nose of the car is pointed towards the exit of the curve, lessen the drift and start to accelerate. Save boosts for straight lines, landing areas, or areas where speed can safely be applied. Be aware that obstacles may ruin even the best-looking drift if the car does not end up in the right lane.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can prevent my drift becoming a spin?
Release the handbrake earlier and cut the steering when the car is heading towards the exit; doing both for too long will cause the car to spin.
Do different cars affect the game play?
Yes, the unlockable cars allow the player to have new cars as they progress through the game, and the handling could be enough to change the road.
